Dr. Wael Sakr, professor of pathology and vice chair of anatomic pathology at Wayne State's School of Medicine, will be a featured speaker during the annual "Ensure the Legacy" dinner and awards program on Wednesday, Sept. 28, in Mundy Township. The American Arab Heritage Council will honor two attorneys and a physician, including the founder of the council, and scholarships will be given to three high school seniors.
